VELOCITY PRIME:

BlaZE & THE SECRET LABORATORY

Velocity-Prime-James -Grimaldi

No one is faster than Blaze on a skateboard.

He may be 10 years old, but with the help of his new BFF (Coco), he's determined to break the speed record.

Just one problem: someone is stalking him. A turtle! Yes, a turtle.

And this is no ordinary turtle. This is a 4-pawed hard-shelled genius who dreams of being fast, just like Blaze. And she'll stop at nothing to become Blaze's protégé.

Yes, it sounds crazy – but that turtle manages to infiltrate Blaze's world. Next, she helps Blaze and Coco uncover a secret laboratory, where they accelerate and become... (wait for it)... supersonic.

This should have been a happy ending: two kids and pet turtle, become champions of speed, and live happily ever after. But no!

It's a nightmare – because the turtle does something so outrageous, so unthinkable, so shocking, that readers of this book won't be able to stop turning the pages until they reach the mind-blowing conclusion.

All we can tell you at this point is... Blaze and Coco must save the world  from a turtle gone rogue.

 VELOCITY SQUARED:

                        BLAZE & THE TERRIFYING RESCUE
who's stealing the pets of the world?

Velocity-Squared-James-Grimaldi

Something terrible is happening all around the world: family pets are disappearing everywhere.

We’re reunited with the trio (Blaze, Coco and the turtle), who’ve embarked on a new journey and purpose, using their new power of speed to save "roadkill" – animals run over by speeding cars.

The animal kingdom admires this and helps the trio with a whole new communication system – The Animal Internet – whenever an animal is run over by a car, forest critters cry out, sounding out an alarm. Like a telegraph, this chain of barks, howls, tweets and grunts travels across countryside until it reaches the trio. That's when our trio races to save these poor roadkill, build them wheelchairs and prosthetics to replace missing legs. Eventually they rescue so many animal-patients, that they build them a secret animal sanctuary, deep in the mountain woods.

But this all gets interrupted, when pets start vanishing. Soon every kid at school has lost their pet, and is posting flyers. The school hallways get plastered with mug shots of kittens and dogs. And it spreads beyond town, as social media gets flooded with posts about even more missing family pets. There are stories on CNN, BBC and TMZ.

“The missing pet problem” becomes a crisis, when it spills over into the trio's animal sanctuary. Now someone is stealing the trio's animal patients.

It's up to Blaze, Coco and their pet turtle, to rescue not only their patients, but also the pets of the world.

Will they succeed? Can they stop the villain? Will pets be reunited with their humans?

VELOCITY CUBED:

BLAZE & THE supersonic BATTLE

Velocity-Cubed-James-Grimaldi

The world has changed a lot since the shocking ending of the last book:

It’s become common for families to return home, and find their fridges and cupboards emptied by invisible intruders. Everyone becomes accustomed to local news reports of supermarkets ransacked of food by an invisible force. Yards and woods lose all their grass and leaves overnight. And now – sinkholes have appeared, swallowing up parks, and even buildings.

The trio (Blaze, Coco and their turtle) know who's behind it all. An invisible supersonic army! But no one believes them.

And without the speed they need, there’s no way the trio can defeat the invisible force. So like everybody else on the planet, our heroes must adapt and find a way to survive in this new world order. Until...

...Blaze and his turtle compete as a duo at the Paralympics. And Coco as their coach, makes them a trio!

At the Paralympics, the trio is amazed by the other athletes who let nothing stand in the way of their dreams. That inspires the trio to rebel against the invisible force destroying the environment and stealing everyone's food.

The odds are against the trio. Because let's get real – what can two kids and one turtle do?
